Belly Casting FAQs

How long does it take?

The entire process takes approximately two hours, but you will only need to stand for around 20 minutes. I handle all the preparation and cleaning up.

What should I wear?

You only need to wear old underwear and socks that you can dispose of later. While I understand some women may prefer modesty, I suggest not wearing a bra. Additionally, have a bath towel or robe handy for after the cast is removed.

When should I set the cast?

The ideal timing is around 36-39 weeks, as this period ensures the best shape for the cast and provides ample time to have it created after your baby is born.

How long does it take to finish the cast?

It usually takes a couple of weeks for the cast to completely dry before I can start working on it. Additionally, with the Canvas Package, the extra painting and mounting steps extend the process by a few days.
