I believe doulas leave this profession for many reasons—but too often, it's not because they stop caring.
It's because no one showed them how to build something sustainable.
I've experienced the challenges of growing a doula practice while remaining committed to families, community, and excellence. Along the way, I realized that our profession needed more than encouragement. We needed practical guidance, stronger business foundations, and a shared vision for what sustainable birth work could look like.
That realization became Building a Sustainable Doula Business.
Today, my work extends beyond supporting families. Through education, mentorship, and systems development, I help birth workers build practices that reflect both the heart of this profession and the professionalism it deserves.
