Why We Started
Pregnancy and early parenthood can be beautiful, but they can also bring uncertainty, financial pressure, isolation, and the need to navigate systems that weren't always designed with families in mind.
We believe community care can help change that experience.
Our annual Community Baby Shower brings together local organizations, birth workers, educators, businesses, families, and neighbors to create a day where expecting and new families can receive resources, encouragement, education, connection, and tangible support.
Over the years, our community has shown us what is possible when we stop asking families to navigate parenthood alone and start building the village around them.
This is our why:
To create a space where families can be celebrated, connected to resources, introduced to people who can support them, and reminded that their community sees them.
Who We Serve
Our gathering centers expecting parents, new parents, babies, and families in our community.
We especially want to create meaningful access to resources for families who may experience barriers to support, including families who are underserved or navigating pregnancy and parenthood with limited resources.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to experience pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood with dignity, information, and community.

The Community Baby Shower is made possible because individuals, businesses, organizations, birth workers, community leaders, and neighbors decide to contribute something.

The 4th Annual Community Baby Shower will take place Saturday, June 5, 2027, in Phoenix.
Our vision is to make this year's gathering even more connected, resource-rich, and community-centered.
