Essential Tools for a Safe and Successful Birth. Get Equipped!

Labor and delivery support is a critical service offered to women who are expecting a child. During this time, women need all the support they can get from their partners, family members, friends, and healthcare providers. The role of a labor and delivery support team is to provide physical, emotional, and informational support to the woman during labor and delivery.

Physical support involves helping the woman to adopt comfortable positions, massaging her back or feet, and providing her with water and snacks.

Emotional support involves encouraging the woman, providing comfort and reassurance, listening to her concerns, and helping her to relax.

Informational support involves providing the woman with information about the labor and delivery process, the options available to her, and the possible outcomes.

Having a labor and delivery support team can help to reduce the woman's anxiety and stress during labor and delivery, leading to a more positive birth experience. It can also help to reduce the need for pain medication, interventions such as cesarean section, and the length of labor. In summary, labor and delivery support is an essential service that can make a significant difference in the birthing experience of a woman.
